Nhill Hospital Radiology Department Reference
The Nhill Hospital Radiology Department installed a Soredex Cranex 3D unit in November 2013.
Wayne Mitchell from Australian Imaging seamlessly installed the unit, without fuss, and to our design expectations (Wayne visited the site prior to install to discuss location and engineering requirements).
The unit has been terrific! Within weeks of the install we were receiving feedback like:
The x-rays which have been coming through from the Nhill hospital are some of the best I have seen anywhere – even in Melbourne. The pictures that were taken were of a very high standard and the radiographer should be commended.
We are now attracting referrals from “distant” referrers to utilise our unit here in Nhil, as opposed to them sending their patients to a closer unit – I guess that says volumes about the image quality.
The user-interfaces for both the Cranex 3D and Soredex software are intuitive and very simple to use with Wayne not needing to spend too much time on applications training! The unit allows multiple adaptations for a wide-gamut of oral imaging applications, with minimal pot-processing required.
Where required, we print to hard-copy via our Fuji DryPix 4000 with the image quality precisely reproduced from the Soredex software. The unit has extremely operator friendly GUI so any questions have normally been about back-end issues as opposed to operation.
